Have you ever met someone that seems strange? Tommy has and his name is Dwight. Dwight is a boy in 6th grade who carries around an Origami Yoda on his finger. He asks people to talk to it and he says it will give them advice. Tommy is trying to figure out if Origami Yoda is “real” at giving advice. He asks his friends to give him information about the advice they get and his friend, Harvey, comments on each story. So, is Origami Yoda real or not? Find out in The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger.

I liked this book because it was funny with a touch of “nerd”. I could relate to this book because I know some pretty strange people!

I would recommend this book to anyone who liked The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, or who just likes to read funny books! This one will make you laugh!

Favorite elements: Characters, Plot

Overall: I loved it!

Since this is a book published in 2010, would you like to nominate it for next year’s MSBA list? Yes!
